St. George-the-Martyr Church, Borough

Friday 22 September at 7pm

The specialist chart topping and internationally famous choir ‘Commotio’ will be performing works by Bob Chilcott from their new CD 'All Good Things'. They will be conducted by him and choir founder and Director, Matthew Berry.

The repertoire you will hear is wonderfully upbeat and infectiously joyous and will be accompanied by a superb jazz trio, led by Alexander Hawkins. This is a pioneering and stunning choir who always give an electrifying performance, it is not to be missed!

The concert is entirely free and will be followed by a buffet reception in the crypt, for which there is a £5 charge, where you can meet the composer and the choir. There will also be a bar and a retiring collection for the St. George’s Organ Restoration Appeal Fund. If you would like to come please email kirsty@stgeorge-themartyr.co.uk and state if you would like us to reserve a buffet ticket(s) for you which will be kept at the box office, and you can pay on the day. The concert itself is entirely free of charge.

The church is immediately opposite Borough tube station (Northern Line) and is served by C10, 21, 35, 47, 133 and 40 bus routes.
