At CLESO, we are passionate about helping young people play the organ.
We are currently developing the content for this page and would be pleased to hear your ideas on information that would be useful - see contact us.
Here’s a few ways we can help:
- Lessons – if you are interested in organ lessons, please contact us for advice. Access to qualified teachers is available through CLESO and the St Giles International Organ School in London (see www.organschool.com). In certain circumstances we may be able to help with access to funding towards organ lessons.
- Practice – CLESO members are pleased to offer access to their organs for practice. We also have contacts with many other organists and churches in the London and Eastern area and can usually help with gaining access to a suitable organ for practice.
- Work shadowing – CLESO can arrange for young people to work with organists in their churches. Watching and assisting an experienced organist is a great way to learn.
